September Beaver creek wedding
A rainbow ceremony backdrop in Beaver Creek
We almost didn’t make it onto the mountain for Jenny and Nick’s ceremony. Rain and lightening shut down the gondola ride up, so we began moving forward with our indoor backup plan. Then suddenly, there was a break in the weather and we had a golden opportunity. 10,000 feet on top of the mountain, Jenny and Nick exchanged vows beneath a rainbow.

The magic of the ceremony set the tone for the rest of the celebration
Taking the euphoria with them, guests made their way down to the base of the mountain for a reception at Saddlebridge. The feeling was an elevated lodge with a warm glow and romantic details inspired by the natural beauty of the setting. The entire day was the most perfect ode to September in the mountains.
“Hiring Kelly was the best decision we made for our wedding, and genuinely the best decision I’ve made in the past two years, period.
I am extremely detail-oriented and came into the process with a specific vision and a LOT of questions. Kelly met me there every step of the way. She was endlessly patient, thoughtful, collaborative, and just as invested in the details as I was. I truly believe this was one of the best working relationships I have had in over a decade. I will genuinely miss our weekly calls!
Our wedding was logistically complex, with a mountaintop ceremony at 10,000 feet followed by a reception at the base of the mountain. Kelly understood exactly what we envisioned and helped execute every physical, logistical, and creative detail. When lightning delayed the gondola and threatened our ceremony, she and her team worked tirelessly to make our dream possible. We ultimately made it up the mountain, surrounded by golden aspens, with a rainbow appearing just before I walked down the aisle. It was one of the happiest moments of my life.”
